In May, Nordvision invites you to two days in Oslo to get inspired by new Nordic formats. Come along and get hold of the best ideas, and a chance to present your own!
Within Nordic public service media, there is a continuous, strong focus on developing new TV concepts that work well on streaming.
Nordvision therefore invites you to a gathering in Oslo on May 27 and 28, where the spotlight is fully on ideas and formats in non-fiction for TV streaming services.
The pitch is for non-fiction TV streaming formats (target group 12+)
- New ideas where you see format potential
- Register your idea(s) by April 30 – link below
- Three ideas will be awarded development funding
- All genres and concepts welcome (e.g. reality, documentary, young adult, history, entertainment, sports, culture, factual…)
The goal is is for all participants to take home a set of concepts that could become the next successful format in their own country. Inspiration, insights, ideas. What works, and why?
The participants will be content developers, producers and commissioners working with non-fiction formats for TV streaming. This event is open to anyone employed by one of the Nordic public service media companies.
The meeting will take place in Oslo on May 27 and 28, from lunch to lunch. There will be pitch sessions, discussions, and time for networking. A hotel deal is available, details below.

Pitch formats and gain new ideas, get inspired, meet Nordic colleagues, expand your network and learn from public service media peers. Please note that you will need to be employed by one of the Nordic public service media companies at the time of the event in order to participate.
Hotel booking: Thon Hotel Ullevaal Stadion (adjecent to the venue) has created a deal available to all participants. Book by April 27.
